On April 12th I left home headed toward the states for my home assignment arriving in Polo the morning of April 13th. I spent the next 6 week there. It was great being able to visit with family and friends catching up on what has been going on in their lives.

God really opened my eyes by reminding me that lately I have been relaying on me and not Him. As I took this to heart he starting showing me just how wonderful He really is. The WOW moments that He allowed me to experience were some of the greatest reminders that He is total in control. Stepping back and letting Him do his thing touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes. I am so thankful for who He is.

It was great that I was able to be of a great help to my Aunt and Uncle during the time that I was in the states.

I was blessed and loved on and mentor too in ways that no one else could like the precious ladies that I spend a lot of my time with. These ladies I surely do miss.

I am thankful for my friend that always goes above and beyond in picking me up, letting me stay at her house and taking me back to the airport, this is true blessing to me. I am thankful for the time that we got to spend together and the talks that we had.

I left the states to come home on May 25th, I was able to travel with one of  the two team that were arriving that day they were from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, the other team that we met up with at the airport in Honduras was from Lakewood Church.

It was so nice to be greeted at the airport and then at home and during the week to know and feel the love and how much I really had been missed.

Since I have been home it has been very  busy trying to get totally catch up on all  the things that needed my attention, getting things sent to the auditor as the start our ECFA audit.

Second week that I was home we also had a double team here at the mission house, one team from The Woodland and the other from Little Rock.

We finally got the container that we have been waiting months for even though I  had nothing on it, it was great for those that have been waiting for their stuff to get here.

We this week I can say that for the most part I am up to date, which is a good feeling.

This week we only had one team, part of the team is the home church of our newest missionaries Kent and Connie, having them here sure made their week. Tomorrow will be a sad day saying goodbye.

Then we need to get ready for next week. House full team of 38 and 32 and 2 Interns, where will the all sleep?

Blessings to all of you.

Well we start the new year with a bang. The month of January brought us 4 teams back to back. Even though this can be a lot of work, more for some than others, it is such a blessing.  Not only changes for the life of the North American team member but also each of the Honduran's life that was touched by these wonderful group of people.

For me, there have been some new dutys at work.

We are also starting to work getting ready for our ECFA audit that accures each year showing that we are in good financial standing. It feels good to be part of a ministry where it is important.

In January we also started our Ladies Bible Study with the study of Jonah by Priscilla Shirer. This is a study of the difference between what we consider interruptions or are they really divine interventions. I am looking forward to what God has to teach me and also the other ladies in our study.

School is going well. When I stop and think that God gave me this opportunity it is overwhelming and exciting. Along with my accounting/finance classes, I started taking some classes (electives) in Human Services which leads me to my other passion, helping the lost and broken.

I started working with two ladies mentoring them through the Celebrate Recovery program. I am looking forward to see what God has planned for both of these women and how this will change their lives and make changes in their ministries. It will be great to see them have these tools and to be able to mentor those in their area helping them change their lives.

With all this being said, I guess that God has decided that I needed to slow down and rest a little, as the month of January came to an end, I was diagnosis with pneumonia, put on meds, took to drink lots of water and rest. Now for those that truly know me, know that this is not me, but I am doing as I am told as much as possible. (lol)

I am asking that you each stand with me in prayer for my health, a better balance in my life and my finances.  The month of January started with my support being down about 50% but I still believe that God wants me here in Honduras and looking to him to supply all my provisions. If you are interesting helping me to continue on this journey with God serving His people here in Honduras, please contact me and find out how you can help. Every amount helps.

I pray for God's blessing and provision on each of our lives.

As the year comes to an end and I reflect back there has been many blessings in my life.  God is still providing support for me to  continue to live in Honduras. Even though right now support is down, I feel in my heart that God wants me to continue to be here serving Him, so I know that he will step in and open people hearts to help me with the journey by honoring Him by helping to support my.

Since being here this year there has been the opportunity for me to go back to college on line first my first year and even on the President's List. What a wonderul feeling.

Started our first Celebrat e Recovery program for Spanish speaking ladies which 5 ladies finishing our first step study.  Looking forward to starting what I call a next step program for these ladies, a new step study, working with ladies in two different cities that would like to bring C/R to their ministry and looking into doing an additional program with a group of ladies that have lived a very hard life. Searching for other people and churches that want to come along side and help to support and mentor to as many people as we can to help give them hope and change their lives.  A vision for me is to be able to work with a church here in Honduras and start with healing the whole family all at  the same time.

Work is going well, I have been giving more duties making me better prepare to serve WGO to the fullest of my ability. Current working with getting things ready for our yearly ECFA audit. Getting ready for the first of many teams starar ting with this coming Saturday with a double team totaling 54 North American team members. What an awesome way for God to start our new year.

I spent 6 week during the month of May and June back in the states visiting family and friends and working on raising support for the coming year. Provisions are still needed so if God is leading for you to help me on this journey, I thank you.  Put most of call I ask that you keep me and my journey here in your prayers each and every day.

Christmas and New Years were a little different as I stayed in Honduras for the Holiday.  Spent Christmas eve with a group of wonder people, missionaries that were not able to go to the states.  Christmas I spent with some good friends starting with breakfast in our jammies, on to play cards, turkey dinner and then watching a movie.

Now it is New Year eve and we are planning a get together here at the mission house with food, white elephant gift exchange, games, movie, just hanging out spending time together then at midnight we will gather on the baloncy and watch the fireworks from the city.

Blessing to everyone!!    Pam

If was great yesterday that the ladies that are going through Celebrate Recovery official finished their step study.  Just listening to the ladies talking about what they have learned during this time together, how it has changed their lives and what they would like to do to help serve those that their live have and will touch in the future.  Praying that they might be able to fulfill their passions to help others.

The month of September was a very busy month for me here in Honduras.

I finished my first year of college majoring in Accounting/Finance and with start of my second year I went from taking two classes every 10 weeks to 3 classes every 10 weeks, more homework but doing my best to keep up with them and my GPA.

September 8th, a team from Crossroads came and served with us here at WGO.  It was such a great pleasure to work and service along member from my home church in the states.  I was so blessed by those that have been here before and also those that this was their first time.  I pray that they remember all that God has taught them while they were here and use it as they continue of the journey that God has them on.

I also got to spend a lot of time with the next two teams meeting and became friends with a bunch of awesome people.

All three of the teams you can see and feel their love for God, serving him and working as a team with each other.  Good lesson to learn or be reminded of as we continue on this journey that God has each and everyone one of us on.

My Honduran ladies finished the 3rd of 4th participation guides for Celebrate Recovery, I am so excited and pleased with their journey and the things that they are learning about themselves and their lives.

The first week of September, our Ladies Bibles Study group started meeting again, with are reading through and discussing "Loving God with all your Mind" by Elizabeth George.  There is some good lessons and reminders for each of us as we read through her book.  I so love when I study something that gives my mind something to think about and put into practice as I continue on this journey.

To top everything off after meeting with my boss he has started to give me more things to do at work.  Which is nice for me as I enjoy continuing to learn new things that will make me better able to service God as I serve WGO with the talents that God has given me.

Please continue to keep me in your prayers.
1.  School, homework and grades
2.  Celebrate recovery as we come to a next with our first year, and what the next journey is to look like
3.  Continuing to serve the ladies at our bible study.
4.  Each and everyone of the missionaries here in Honduras serving with WGO, that we all find balance and           contentment with this journey that God has us on.
5.  Balance with all areas of my life: time with God, work, school, eating and exercise along with everything else I do.

Blessings to all of your

In His Blessed Name

New happening in Hondruas

Hi All.

Hope that this finds everyone doing well.

Just finished the major part of of ECFA audit and now down to answer some additional questions.

We had  a double team last week the last one for the summer.  One part of the team went home on Saturday and the other team was not scheduled to go home until  Sunday.  This leaving the day open for different things that could be done with the team.  So we went to the open market downtown, now this is an interesting place there is a open meat market which I don't think I would want to eat meat from there.  Part of the market also has vendors that sell a varied to things like fruits and vegetables, cheese, a range of items that they have made and vendors even just sell things that they have brought cheaper and sell for a little more to make money.  There are also vendors that prepare food and drinks that are available for sell.  Even one seemed to enjoy their time at the open market seeing what all is offered there.  Now the open market is right across from the stadium.  We got the opportunity to go inside and see what it looked like.  Then we got permission to go into the tunnel and visit the locker rooms, there is one for each of the two Honduran soccer teams and the a third locker room that is for the visiting team.  The man that had the keys took great pride in being able to show us all around and at the end of the tour he showed us the office area.  It was nice that we were allowed to go inside and the team enjoyed it.  Then off to the mall for lunch.  From the open market and then to the mall showed the team that there are different levels on Hondurans, as when we serve we really only see the poor.  This gave them a chance to see that not all of Honduran are poor.

We are now in a week of no teams, it is nice and quite in the house.  We will have no teams again next week either.  Our next team will be here on September 8th and I am so looking forward to seeing them as this will be the team from Crossroads my home church.  It is always an awesome time to be able to spend time serving along side and hanging out with them.

Praying for God's provision and blessings on all of you.

Until next time
